Welcome to the Region 28 of the National Labor Relations Board. We conduct elections, investigate charges of unfair labor practices, and protect the rights of workers to act together, serving Arizona, New Mexico, and parts of Texas and Nevada from our regional office in Phoenix and resident offices in Las Vegas and Albuquerque. If you have questions or wish to file a charge or petition for election, please visit our office or call and ask for the Information Officer on duty. We can arrange to have someone speak with you in the language of your choice. We are also happy to provide speakers and materials to promote a greater understanding of the National Labor Relations Act.

NLRB Acting General Counsel Lafe Solomon today released an analysis of at-will employment clauses in two employee handbooks, finding that both are lawful under the National Labor Relations Act.

A federal judge has ordered an Albertsons grocery store in Albuquerque, New Mexico to reinstate a longtime cashier who was suspended and then fired after talking with union organizers and recommending unionization to fellow employees. 

In a case returned by the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit for further consideration, the National Labor Relations Board, in a 3-1 decision, found that a Las Vegas casino violated federal labor law by prohibiting off-duty employees of restaurants inside the casino from distributing handbills on casino property.The handbills sought public support for the organizing efforts of employees of the restaurants, which are operated by a contractor inside the New York-New York Ca
