Unit Description: PRESENT: The existing unit is described in the current collective bargaining agreement in Article 3B, as: B, Appropriate Unit. The appropriate unit to which this Agreement applies, shall consist of all employees of the Company's electric and water transmission departments in the divisions and jobs referenced in the Agreement. The jobs and classifications are described in Article 50, Work Rules for Distribution Systems, Article 51, Work Rules for Power Production, A. Gas & Oil and B. Coal, as well as being listed in Appendix A, Wage Schedule for Distribution Systems and Appendix B, Wage Schedule for Power Production. in addition, the applicable occupational groups are stated in Article 36A, Occupational Groups for Electrical Services Business Unit and Article 36B, Occupational Groups for Power Production Business Unit. In Case 28-RC-6350, under date of July 15, 2005, The Regional Director described the scope of the contractual unit as "approximately 570 production and maintenance employees who work in the electric and water transmission, distribution, amd production departments, in all of the Employer's districts." PROPOSED: Petitioner seeks to clarify the existing unit to include the former employees of Texas New Mexico Power Company ("TNMP") consolidated into the operation of Public Service Company of New Mexico on January 1, 2007, and limited to those employees engaged in New Mexico in the transmission and distribution of electricity, excluding office clericals, meter readers, guards, watchmen, and supervisors, as defined in the Act.
