Steven Davis
Judge Davis has been an NLRB judge for over 30 years, having been appointed in July of 1981. He had previously served as an NLRB field attorney with the Brooklyn Regional Office, and as a review and litigation attorney with the New York State Labor Relations Board. He also served for approximately 2 years as an SSA judge before transferring to the NLRB. He received a B.S. degree from New York University, where he majored in labor economics. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1969, where he served as Associate Editor of the Law Review. In 1972, he also obtained a Master of Laws in Labor Law from the New York University School of Law. For ten years, Judge Davis was an Adjunct Professor at Fordham Law School where he taught the class in NLRB Practice and Procedure.
