Voting Unit (Unit A):All regular full-time and regular part-time employees, employed by the Employer at its Ogdensburg, New York facility in the positions of Housekeeping worker, Dietary worker, Cook, Task Aide, Laundry worker, Nursing Assistant, and LPN; but excluding confidential employees (Administrator, Business Manager, Social Worker, Activities Director, Activities Aides, Director of Nursing, Food Service Director, Facilities Director, Physical Therapy Assistant, Department Heads, Secretary to the Administrator, clerical staff in Business Office, receptionist/security and medical records, LPNs who are full-time shift supervisors, students, RNs, maintenance worker, pastoral care associate, Physical Therapy Director, Dietary Technician, guards and supervisors as defined in the National Labor Relations Act, and per diem and temporary employees*. *The most recent collective bargaining agreement between the Employer and the Union defines regular full-time employees as employees who are regularly scheduled to work a minimum of 1560 hours per year; regular part-time employees as employees who are regularly scheduled to work a minimum of 1040 hours per year, but less than 1560 hours per year; per diem employees as employees who work less than 1040 hours per year and are ineligible for benefits; and temporary employees as individuals who replace either full-time or part-time employees on a temporary basis.
