Excluded: All professional employees as described in Unit A, confidential employees, managerial employees, guards and supervisors as defined in the Act. COMBINED UNITS - A AND B Included: All full-time and regular part-time employees including Clinical Counselors, Lead Teachers, ABE Instructor, Special Events and Annual Fund Manager, Bilingual Program Assistant, Buen Hogar Intern, Billing and Collections Clerk, Citizenship Instructor, Community Engagement Specialist, Community Literacy Coordinator, Community Support Specialist, Cook, Custodian, Database Administrator, Development Specialist, Digital Media Coordinator, Disabilities Paraprofessional, Electrical Maintenance Technician, ESL Instructor, ESL Instructor and Academic Advancement Specialist, Family Worker, Grant Administrator, Grants Manager, Health Care Careers Instructor, Health Programs Coordinator, Health Services Assistant, Housing Outreach Intern, Immigration Coordinator, Intake Specialist, Information Systems and Retention Specialist, Intake Assistant, Lead Mentor, Legal Assistant, Legal Receptionist, Legal Representative, Maintenance Worker, Office Assistant, PC Technician, Receptionist, READS Facilitator, School Age Educator, School Age Educator Assistant, School Age Worker, Teacher Assistant, Substitute Teacher, Training Specialist, Science Instructor, Youth and Family Coordinator, Youth Coordinator, Youth Program Specialist employed by the Employer at its facilities currently located at 1701 W Superior Street, Chicago, IL 60622 (the Center), 4225 W 25th Street, Chicago, IL 60623 (Little Village), 1347 W Erie Street, Chicago, IL 60642 (the House) and assigned to work at 1405 N Washtenaw, Chicago, IL 60622 (Charter School). Excluded: All confidential employees, managerial employees, guards and supervisors as defined in the Act. If a majority of the professional employees voting in Unit A vote “Yes” to the first question, indicating their desire to be included in a unit with non-professional employees, they will be so included, and their votes on the second question will be counted together with the votes of the non-professional employees in Unit B to decide the question concerning representation for the overall unit consisting of the employees in Units A and B. If on the other hand, a majority of the professional employees voting in Unit A do not vote “Yes” to the first question, their ballots will be counted separately to decide the question concerning representation in a separate Unit A. Others permitted to vote: The parties have agreed that Outreach Coordinators, Community and Youth Program Coordinators, Community Resource Coordinators, Associate Director of Marketing, Staff Accountants and Technology Promoters may vote in the election, in Voting Group – Unit B, but their ballots will be challenged since their eligibility has not been resolved. No decision has been made regarding whether the individuals in these classifications or groups are included in, or excluded from, the bargaining unit. The eligibility or inclusion of these individuals will be resolved, if necessary, following the election.
