Voting Unit (Unit A):All respiratory therapists employed by the Employer; excluding managers and guards and supervisors as defined in the Act, and all other employees. If a majority of valid ballots are cast for AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY & MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES, AFL-CIO, COUNCIL 65, herein called the Union, they will be taken to have indicated the employees' desire to be included in the existing "Support Services" bargaining unit consisting of nursing assistants, surgical techs, biomedical techs, pharmacy techs, food services, housekeeping and maintenance employees currently represented by the Union. If a majority of valid ballots are not cast for representation, they will be taken to have indicated the employees' desire to remain unrepresented.
