Voting Unit (Unit A):Included: All full-time and regular part-time equipment operators, mechanics, and all other employees falling under the work classifications of Operating Engineers including Bargeman, Brakeman, Compressor Operator (when more than five (5) 900 CFM or larger units, additional Operator required), Ditch Witch, with seat or similar type equipment, Elevator Operator – inside, Engineer Oiler, Forklift Operator (includes loed, lull or similar types – Under 5 tons), Generator Operator, Generator, Pump or Compressor Plant Operator, Heavy Duty Repairman helper, Profilograph, Pump Operator, Signalman, Switchman, Asphalt-Rubber Plant Operator (Nurse Tank Operator), Concrete Mixer Operator – Skip type, Conveyor Operator, Fireman, Forklift Operator (includes loed, lull or similar types – over 5 tons), Hydrostatic Pump Operator, Oiler Crusher (Asphalt or Concrete Plant), Petromat Laydown Machine, PJU Side Dump Jack, Rotary Drill Helper (Oilfield), Screening and Conveyor Machine Operator (or similar types), Skiploader (wheel type up to ¾ yd. without attachment), Tar Pot Fireman, Temporary Heating Plant Operator, Trenching Machine Oiler, Asphalt-Rubber Blend Operator, Bobcat or similar type (Skid Steer), Equipment Greaser (rack), Ford Ferguson (with dragtype attachments), Helicopter Radioman (ground), Stationary Pipe Wrapping and Cleaning Machine Operator, Asphalt Plant Fireman, Backhoe Operator (Mini-Max or similar type), Boring Machine Operator, Boring System Electronic Tracking Locator, Boxman or Mixerman (Asphalt or Concrete), Chip Spreading Machine Operator, Concrete Cleaning Decontamination, (Machine Operator), Concrete Pump Operator (small portable), Drilling Machine Operator, Small Auger Types (Texoma Super Economatic, or similar types – Hughes 100 or 200, or similar types – drilling dept of 30’ maximum), Equipment Greaser (Grease Truck), Excavator Track/Rubber-Tired (Operating Weight under 21,000 lbs., see crew size requirement), Guard Rail Post Driver Operator, Highline Cableway Signalman, Horizontal Directional Drilling Machine, Hydra-Hammer-Aero Stomper, Micro Tunneling (above ground tunnel), Power Concrete Curing Machine Operator, Power Concrete Saw Operator, Power-Drive Jumbo Form Setter Operator, Power Sweeper Operator, Rock Wheel Saw/Trencher, Roller Operator (compacting), Screed Operator, (Asphalt or Concrete), Trenching Machine Operator (up to 6ft.), Vacuum or Muck Truck, Equipment Greaser (Grease Truck/Multi-Shift), Articulating Material Hauler, Asphalt Plant Engineer, Batch Plant Operator, Bit Sharpener, Concrete Joint Machine Operator,(canal and similar type), Concrete Plant Operator, Dandy Digger, Deck Engine Operator, Deck Engineer, Derrickman (Oilfield type), Drilling Machine Operator, Bucket or Auger types (Caldwell 100 Bucket or similar types - Watson 1000 Auger or similar types, Texoma 330, 500 or 600 Auger or similar types – drilling depth of 45’ maximum), and Drilling Machine Operator (including water wells) throughout Local 12’s geographic jurisdiction employed by the Employer at its facility located at 2528 Graeber Street, Riverside, California, and throughout Southern California, more specifically defined as Counties of Los Angeles, Inyo, Mono, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Imperial, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Kern and in addition: Richardson Rock, Santa Cruz Island, San Clemente Island, Santa Rosa Island, Anacapa Island, including the Channel Islands Monument, San Diego County and in Southern Nevada, more particularly described as the counties of Clark, Lincoln, Nye and Esmeralda. Excluded: All other employees, including, executives, superintendents, assistant superintendents, master mechanics, office engineers, timekeepers, messengers, office workers, or any other Employees of the Contractor above the rank of Craft Foreman, office clerical employees, professional employees, guards and supervisors as defined in the Act.
