Voting Unit (Unit A):Included: All full-time and regular part-time employees, including eligible per diem employees employed by Hospital of Barstow, Inc. d/b/a Barstow Community Hospital at its facility located at 555 South Seventh Avenue, Barstow, California, 92311 in the following combined unit: 1) service and maintenance employees: including Case Manager/Cr Abs, Case Management Assistant, CNA/PCA, CNA, Cook, Data abstractor, Dietary aide, Dietary assistant, Dietary clerk, Dietary tech, EOC clerk, Housekeeper, Lead Rad clerk, PCA, Phlebotomist, Quality analyst, Store room clerk, Tele tech, Telemetry Tech, and Unit clerk; 2) technical employees: including Echo tech, EEG/EKG tech, ER tech, IT tech, LVN, MRI tech, Nuclear tech, Pharmacy tech, Radiological tech, Rad tech, Rad tech III, Respiratory Therapist, Surgical tech, and Ultrasound tech; and 3) skilled maintenance employees: including Maintenance technician. Excluded: All other employees, professional employees, business office clerical employees, registered nurses, managers, confidential employees, physicians, nurse and/or clinical educators or coordinators, clinical nurse specialists, clinical coordinators, case managers/utilization review and/or discharge planners, nurse practitioners, accounting or auditing RNs, infection control/employee health nurses, risk management/performance improvement and/or quality assurance or quality management nurses, employees of outside registries and other agencies supplying labor to the Employer, already represented employees, per diem employees who do not otherwise qualify as regular part-time employees according to the NLRA, guards and supervisors as defined in the Act, as amended.
