If on the other hand, a majority of the employees voting do not vote "Yes to the first question, their votes on the second question will not be counted. If a majority of valid ballots are cast for Service Employees International Union, United Healthcare Workers — West (SEIU-UHW), they will be taken to have indicated the employees' desire to be included in the existing bargaining unit of professional and non-professional employees as set forth in the collective bargaining agreement between Dignity Health and Service Employees International Union, United Healthcare Workers — West (SEIU-UHW) that expires on April 30, 2023. If a majority of valid ballots are not cast for representation, they will be taken to have indicated the employees' desire to remain unrepresented.
