Voting Unit (Unit A):All full-time and regular part-time Booksellers, Children’s Booksellers, Digital Media Coordinators, Marketing Coordinators, HR/Payroll Clerks/HR/Payroll Coordinators, Accounting Coordinators, Cash Counters, Event Assistants, Backlist Buyers, Assistant Buyers, Publishing Coordinators, Schools Outreach Coordinators, Assistant Sideline Buyers, Remainder Buyers, Magazine Specialists, Heads of Receiving, Receivers, Calendar Specialists, Web Order Team employees, Heads of Used Books, Used Books Buyers, Floor Supervisors, and Backup Supervisors, employed by the Employer at its facility located at 1520 Pacific Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA 95060; excluding Marketing Managers, Business Managers, Events Managers, Operations Managers, Floor Managers, seasonal employees, on-call employees, confidential employees, guards, and statutory supervisors as defined in the Act. Others permitted to vote: The parties have agreed that Heads of Adult Buying, Heads of Children’s Buying, and Head Sidelines Buyers, may vote in the election but their ballots will be challenged since their eligibility has not been resolved. No decision has been made regarding whether the individuals in these classifications or groups are included in, or excluded from, the bargaining unit. The eligibility or inclusion of these individuals will be resolved, if necessary, following the election.
