Voting Unit (Unit A):GROUP A All full-time and regular part-time care manager assistants, data entry clerks, data entry specialists, data control specialists II, billing/accounts payable specialists, billing/accounts receivable specialists, and program assistants employed by the Employer at its New Haven, Connecticut facility; but excluding professional employees, guards and supervisors as defined in the Act. With respect to the employees described in Group A, one question shall appear on the ballot: Do you wish to be represented for the purposes of collective bargaining by NEW ENGLAND HEALTH CARE EMPLOYEES UNION, DISTRICT 1199, SEIU? GROUP B All full-time and regular part-time care managers, communication/grants development coordinators, transition coordinators, nutrition assessment specialists, transition consultants, elderly information specialists and FGP/SCP Specialists employed by the Employer at its New Haven, Connecticut facility; but excluding all other employees, and guards and supervisors as defined in the Act. With respect to the professional employees described in Group B, two questions shall appear on the ballot: 1) Do you desire to be included with non-professional employees in a single unit for the purposes of collective bargaining? 2) Do you wish to be represented for the purposes of collective bargaining by by NEW ENGLAND HEALTH CARE EMPLOYEES UNION, DISTRICT 1199, SEIU? If a majority of employees in Group B vote “Yes” to question 1, they will be so included and their votes on question 2 will then be counted together with those of the employees in Group A. If a majority of employees in Group B vote “No” to question 1, their votes will be separately counted to determine whether they wish to be represented in a separate professional unit.
