Christen Ritter Appointed to the Assistant to the Regional Director of Region 2

Today, the National Labor Relations Board Acting General Counsel Peter Sung Ohr announced the appointment of Christen Ritter as the Assistant to the Regional Director of the NLRB’s Regional office in New York, NY (Region 2). In her new position, Ms. Ritter will assist Regional Director John J. Walsh, Jr. in the administration and enforcement of the National Labor Relations Act, serving the boroughs of Manhattan and the Bronx, and the counties of Orange, Putnam, Rockland, and Westchester.

A native of Michigan, Ms. Ritter earned her Bachelor of Business and Master’s in Human Resources and Labor Relations at Michigan State University.  Ms. Ritter began her career in 2005 as a Field Examiner in the NLRB’s Manhattan Office. In 2012, she was promoted to Compliance Officer; then in 2015, she was promoted to Supervisory Field Examiner.
