EBI employees in Virginia reject union representation in NLRB election

Employees at the EBI, LLC plant in Danville, Virginia voted against representation by the United Steelworkers in an NLRB-supervised election conducted on Monday and Tuesday.
Results, released by the NLRB Tuesday evening, were 281 votes against the union and 118 votes in favor, with 13 challenged ballots. There were a total of 451 eligible workers at the plant, which manufactures products for IKEA.
The election was conducted at the EBI plant in three sessions to accommodate the three work shifts.
