National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Richard F. Griffin, Jr. announced the appointment of Deputy Regional Attorney John D. Doyle, Jr. as Deputy Assistant General Counsel in the Division of Operations-Management of the Office of the General Counsel in Washington, DC.  In his new position, Mr. Doyle will assist the General Counsel in managing the 26 Regional Offices of the NLRB and provide programmatic support for the national enforcement and administration of the National Labor Relations Act.
Mr. Doyle earned his undergraduate degree from Colgate University in 1992 and his law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1995.   Following law school, Mr. Doyle joined the NLRB’s Region 10 Offices, working first in the Atlanta, Georgia Regional Office and later in the Birmingham, Alabama Resident Office.  In 2011, Mr. Doyle was promoted to Deputy Regional Attorney in the NLRB’s Region 5 Office in Baltimore, Maryland.
The NLRB is an independent federal agency enforcing the National Labor Relations Act, which guarantees the right of most private sector employees to engage in group efforts to improve their wages and working conditions, to engage in collective-bargaining, and to refrain from any of these activities.
