Region 22 Issues a Complaint and Notice of Hearing Against Time Warner Cable of New York City LLC

Region 22 Director J. Michael Lightner issued a Complaint and Notice of Hearing on January 30, 2014 against Time Warner Cable of New York City, LLC.  The Complaint, filed by an individual, alleges that Time Warner Cable violated Section 8(a)(5) of the National Labor Relations Act by unilaterally changing its policies for granting vacation time and bereavement time to its bargaining unit employees employed at its Bergen, New Jersey location.  A hearing on this matter is scheduled to take place before an Administrative Law Judge on March 11, 2014 at the Region 22 office in Newark, New Jersey.
