National Labor Relations Board Chairman Wilma Liebman today announced the appointment of Robert Schiff as her Chief of Staff, beginning February 1.
Mr. Schiff most recently served as Chief Counsel for Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI) and for the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution. Prior to joining Sen. Feingold’s staff in 1998, he served as an attorney for Public Citizen’s Congress Watch, focusing on campaign finance reform. Mr. Schiff was in private practice from 1986 to 1993, and earlier served as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Barrington Parker in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Schiff graduated from Brown University and earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1985. He fills a vacancy created by the departure of former Chief of Staff Arlene Klepper in mid-January.
