Terry D. Combs is appointed Assistant to the Regional Director in NLRB's Tampa Regional Office

National Labor Relations Board Acting General Counsel Lafe Solomon announced the appointment of Terry D. Combs as the Assistant to the Regional Director of the NLRB’s Regional Office in Tampa, Florida (Region 12).  In his new position, Mr. Combs will assist Acting Regional Director Margaret Diaz in the administration and enforcement of the National Labor Relations Act in Florida and southern Georgia.
Mr. Combs received a B.S. degree from Miami University (Ohio) and a Master’s degree in Labor and Employment Relations from the University of Cincinnati.  He began his career in 1997 as a Field Examiner in the Indianapolis, Indiana office and transferred to the Cincinnati, Ohio office in 2000.  In 2010, he joined the Atlanta, Georgia office after being promoted to Supervisory Field Examiner and was subsequently promoted to the Assistant to the Regional Director position.
The National Labor Relations Board is an independent federal agency vested with the power to safeguard employees’ rights to organize and to determine whether to have unions as their bargaining representative.  The Agency also acts to prevent and remedy unfair labor practices committed by private sector employers and unions.
