Region 2 Announces Results in Montefiore Medical Center Election

New York, NY – Region 2 of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) completed a vote count on February 23, 2023 in a union election involving employees at Montefiore Medical Center choosing whether or not to be represented by the Committee of Interns and Residents, Service Employees International Union (SEIU). The resultant Revised Tally of Ballots shows the following uncertified results:

A majority of the valid votes counted has been cast for the Petitioner, the Committee of Interns and Residents, Service Employees International Union.
The ballot count was conducted by NLRB Region 2 employees at the New York City Regional Office. The Regional Director issued a Certification of Representative on March 7, 2023.
