Today, National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Jennifer A. Abruzzo announced the appointment of Eric A. Taylor as the Regional Attorney of the NLRB Region 9-Cincinnati. In his new position, Mr. Taylor will assist Regional Director Matthew Denholm in the administration and enforcement of the National Labor Relations Act in parts of Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Eric A. Taylor is a long-time attorney and supervisory attorney in Region 9, where he has spent his entire career. He started with the Agency as a Field Attorney following graduation from The University of Akron School of Law in 1987. He was promoted to Supervisory Attorney in July 2013. In recent months, he has served as Acting Regional Attorney.
Established in 1935, the National Labor Relations Board is an independent federal agency that protects employees, employers, and unions from unfair labor practices and protects the right of private sector employees to join together, with or without a union, to improve wages, benefits and working conditions. The NLRB conducts hundreds of workplace elections and investigates thousands of unfair labor practice charges each year. Region 9 serves Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia from its Regional Office in Cincinnati.
