NLRB Region 28-Phoenix Announces Results of Starbucks Ballot Count

Phoenix, AZ—Region 28 of the National Labor Relations Board completed a ballot count on February 25, 2022 in a union election involving employees at a Starbucks store in Mesa, Arizona choosing whether or not to be represented by Workers United. The ballot count was conducted by an NLRB Region 28 employee at the Phoenix Regional office. The resultant Tally of Ballots shows the following results: 

The challenged ballots are not determinative. A majority of the valid votes counted has been cast for the Petitioner, Workers United. The results of this count will not be certified until the Region processes any objections that might be filed by the parties contesting the election. Any objections to the election are due within five business days after the preparation of the tally, which is Friday, March 4, 2022.
