David Cohen
David Cohen is the Regional Director in the Tampa Regional Office (Region 12). He is responsible for enforcement of the nation’s primary labor law covering private sector employees in most of Florida, 21 counties in southern Georgia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the United States Virgin Islands.
Mr. Cohen is a graduate of Lafayette College in Easton, PA, where he majored in Government and Law, and from Rutgers University School of Law – Newark. He worked in the NLRB’s Brooklyn Regional Office as a Field Examiner, and later in the positions of Field Attorney, Trial Specialist, and Supervisory Attorney, from 1977 until 1995, when he transferred to the Tampa Regional Office. In 1997, he was appointed Deputy Regional Attorney and, in 2012, he was appointed Regional Attorney.
