John Giannopoulos

Judge

Judge Giannopoulos was appointed in November 2015. Previously he served as a Social Security Judge. Before his appointment with Social Security, Judge Giannopoulos was a trial lawyer and supervisor in the Board’s Phoenix office. He was appointed as Deputy Assistant General Counsel, but did not serve in that position because of his appointment as a Social Security judge. Before joining the Board, he spent 2 years in private practice. He also worked as a consultant with Deloitte & Touche. Judge Giannopoulos received his B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Utah and his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Utah.
