Voting Unit (Unit A): All full-time and regular part-time licensed practical nurses (LPNs) employed by the Employer at its facility located at 28550 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48154; but excluding all executive directors, directors of nursing services, unit managers, infection control nurses, medical records nurses, registered nurses, casual LPNs, pro re nata (PRN) LPNs, professional employees, confidential employees, and guards and supervisors, as defined by the Act. If the majority of the valid ballots are cast for SEIU Healthcare Michigan they will be taken to have indicated the employees’ desire to be included in the existing unit of CENA, Cooks, Cook Helper, Dietary, Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance Assistant, Non-Certified CENAs, and Floor Care employees currently represented by SEIU Healthcare Michigan. If the majority of ballots are not cast for representation, they will be taken to have indicated the employees’ desire to remain unrepresented.
