Nancy J. Schiffer

Nancy J. Schiffer was sworn in as a Member of the National Labor Relations Board on August 2, 2013, following her nomination by President Obama, and confirmation by the Senate on July 30, 2013, for a term that expires on December 16, 2014. 

Harry I. Johnson, III

Harry I. Johnson, III was a partner with law firm Arent Fox LLP, a position he held since 2010. Previously, Mr. Johnson worked at the Jones Day law firm as a partner from 2006 to 2010 and as an associate from 1994 to 2005. In 2011 and 2013, he was recognized by The Daily Journal as one of the “Top Labor & Employment Attorneys in California”. Mr. Johnson received a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, an M.A.L.D. from Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Kent Y. Hirozawa

Kent Y. Hirozawa was nominated by President Obama on July 16, 2013, and confirmed by the Senate on July 30, 2013, for a term that expires on August 27, 2016. He served as chief counsel to National Labor Relations Board Chairman Mark Gaston Pearce from April 2010 until he was sworn in as a Board member on August 5, 2013. Mr. Hirozawa began his career as a field attorney in Region 2 of the Board after clerking in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Philip A. Miscimarra

Philip A. Miscimarra was named Chairman of the National Labor Relations Board by President Donald J. Trump on April 24, 2017. Mr. Miscimarra was previously named Acting Chairman of the National Labor Relations Board by President Trump on January 23, 2017. He was first sworn in as a Member of the National Labor Relations Board on August 7, 2013 for a term that expires on December 16, 2017. Mr. Miscimarra was nominated by President Obama on April 9, 2013 and was approved unanimously by the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions on May 22, 2013.

Mori Rubin

Mori Rubin was appointed Regional Director of the Los Angeles, California Regional Office (Region 31) in May 2012.  Ms. Rubin started her NLRB career in 1980 as a Field Attorney in Region 31. Since that time, she has served as a Supervisory Attorney, Deputy Regional Attorney and Regional Attorney.  She also served as the Acting Regional Director from December 2011 until her appointment to Regional Director of Region 31.

 

Kathy Drew King

Kathy Drew King was appointed Regional Director of the Brooklyn Office in 2016. She began her career as an attorney at the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board where she served from 1983 to 1991. Ms. King also worked as the Associate Executive Counsel at the U.S. Department of Labor, Benefits Review Board from 1991 to 1992 when she joined the NLRB. She rose from Senior Field Attorney to Supervisory Attorney in 2012. Ms. King later was promoted to her prior position of Regional Attorney in 2014.

Cornele A. Overstreet

Cornele A. Overstreet was appointed Regional Director of the Phoenix Office (Region 28) in 1996.  Mr. Overstreet began his NLRB career in 1978 as a Field Attorney in the Indianapolis Regional Office.  He transferred to the Las Vegas resident office in 1988. A native of Chicago, Mr. Overstreet received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin (Madison), where he majored in French.  He received his Master’s degree in French Literature at the University of Illinois (Champaign) in 1975, and his J.D. degree from the same university in 1978.
